EE25303:

Electric Circuit Laboratory

Course Objective:

• To Apply the basic circuit solving techniques for both AC and DC circuits.

• To know the applications of various network theorems, transient analysis. Resonance, two port networks and Three phase circuits

List of Experiments:

1. Determination of sinusoidal current response for a series RL, RLC network in steady state for sinusoidal input voltage excitation using phasor concepts (impedances).

2. Application and experimental verification of network theorems (Thevenin’s, Norton’s, Superposition, Maximum Power Transfer and Reciprocity theorem).

3. Circuit Transient and steady state analysis: Determination of time constant of series RL, RC circuits. b. Determination of frequency response of RLC circuits.

c. Steady state analysis of series RL, RC and RLC circuits.

4. Determination of resonant frequency and bandwidth for Series and Parallel resonant circuits.

5. Determination of impedance, admittance, transmission and hybrid parameters for two port networks.

6. Determination of power in a three phase balanced and unbalanced circuits.
