As we’ve seen, classical conditioning can be described in terms of a specific procedure: We need a US and UR that are biologically linked, and then we need a sequence of pre-sentations in which the CS is paired with the US. But we can also describe this form of conditioning in terms of a set of properties that usually characterize this type of learning.
