Evaluation of and choosing between the alternative solutions

The next step in the planning process is to evaluate the alternatives and choose from among the developed solutions. On this basis the chosen plan can be further developed. Hopefully the analysis and consideration of different solutions have improved the plan compared to first proposals. All the developed solutions will of course have advantages and disadvantages, and these must be weighed when developing the final plan which will often be a mix of the alternatives.
