Juvenile myelomonocytic leukaemia

Classified with the myelodysplasias, it is also known as juvenile CML.

It is rare (<1% of childhood malignancy).

·Age of onset mostly <2yrs.

·Associated with monosomy 7, NF1, and Noonan’s syndrome.

Response to chemotherapy is poor and only BMT offers a cure.
