Method of stabilizing the Q point

Stabilization technique:

It refers to the use of resistive biasing circuits which allow I_B to vary so as to keep I_C relatively constant with variations in I_CO, β and V_BE.

Compensation technique:

It refers to the use of temperature sensitive devices such as diodes, transistors, thermistors which provide compensating voltage and current to maintain Q point stable.
