Dwarf
Planets
Dwarf planets are tiny planets in our solar system. Any celestial body orbiting around the sun, weighing for the self gravity and nearly be round in shape is called ‘Dwarf Planet’.
It should not be a satellite of any planet. They are five in number Ceres,
Pluto, Heumea, Makemake and Eris. As Pluto has not cleared the neighbourhood
around its orbit, it is officially demoted in 2006 from its ninth position as a
planet.
