SPIN A YARN

The starting of a story is given. Develop it into a humorous story.

Once there lived a boy who bragged endlessly about himself

One day he was walking along with his friend Gopi. As usual he started boasting about himself. They came to a tree close to a ditch. The boy said that he could climb up the tree easily and pluck the fruit. Gopi warned him not to do so as the branches of the tree were thin and weak but the braggart did not listen to him. He quickly climbed up the tree and went up to the end of the branch. All of a sudden the branch broke. The boy crashed into the ditch along with the branch. Slowly he rose to his feet with his clothes soiled and dirty. What a pathetic sight the poor boy was!
