(Proto- rst; zoa-animals) is phylum includes a great diversity of small, microscopic organisms. These are single celled eukaryotes. Their locomotion occur through pseudopodia (false feet), cilia or agella. The nutrition is either autotrophic or heterotrophic. Respiration and excretion is carried out through general body surface or through contractile vacuole. They reproduce either asexually or sexually.
