CARVEDILOL

Carvedilol is a mixed β- and α-blocker used in the management of chronic heart failure secondary to cardiomyopathy, left ventricular dysfunction follow-ing acute myocardial infarction, and hypertension. Carvedilol dosage is individualized and gradually increased up to 25 mg twice daily, as required and tolerated.
