with OpenOffice Calc
Calc
is the spreadsheet component of OpenOffice. You can enter any kind of data in a
spreadsheet and then manipulate this data to produce certain results.
Alternatively, you can enter data and then use Calc in a ‘What If...’ manner by
changing some of the data and observing the results without having to retype
the entire spreadsheet.
Connecting with Excel - Ability to open, edit, and save Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
AutoSum - helps you to add the contents of a cluster of adjacent
cells.
List AutoFill - automatically extends cell formatting when a new item is
added to the end of a list.
AutoFill - allows you to quickly fill cells with repetitive or sequential data
such as chronological dates or numbers, and repeated text. AutoFill can also be
used to copy functions. You can also alter text and numbers with this feature.
Charts - helps you in presenting a graphical representation of your data
in the form of Pie, Bar, Line charts and more.
Functions - which can be used to create formula to perform complex
calculations on data
