Saturated reactor

1. Thyristor controlled Reactor

2. Thyristor switched capacitor

3. Thyristor Switched Reactor

4. Thyristor controlled Transformer

· Connected to the power system, to regulate the transmission voltage ("Transmission

SVC")

· Connected near large industrial loads, to improve power quality ("Industrial SVC")
