2. Kamala had a change of ₹ 100, ₹ 50, ₹ 20 and ₹ 10 notes. How many rupees did she have in each to get the total of rupees 500?

₹ 100 x 4 = 400

₹ 50 x 1 = 50

₹ 20 X 2 = 40

₹ 10 x 1 = 10

Total = 500

3. Convert the following rupees into paise

i. ₹ 7.50

[ 7 x 100 ] + 50 paise = 750 paise

ii. ₹ 18.75

18.75 x 100

[ 18 x 100 paise ] + 75 paise = 1875 paise

iii. ₹ 54.68

[ 54 x 100 ] + 68 paise = 5468 paise

iv. ₹ 102.50

[ 102 x 100 ] + 50 paise = 10250 paise

v. ₹ 129.45

[ 129 x 100 ] + 45 paise = 12900 paise + 45 paise = 12945 paise

vi. ₹ 308.61

[ 308 x 100 ] + 61 paise = 30800 paise + 61 paise = 30861 paise

4. (i) Write the denomination for the following amount.

₹ 466 = ₹ 200 ₹ 100 ₹ 100 ₹ 50 ₹ 10 ₹ 5 ₹ 1

₹ 200 x 1 = 200

₹ 100 x 2 = 200

₹ 50 x 1 = 50

₹ 10 x 1 = 10

₹ 5 x 1 = 5

₹ 1 x 1 = 1

Total = ₹ 466 

(ii) Use and fill in the boxes with the amounts given below, to get the given amount (₹ 845)

7. Convert the following paise into rupees.

i. 800 paise

800 ÷ 100 = ₹8

ii. 500 paise

500 ÷ 100 = ₹5

iii. 2075 paise

2075 ÷ 100 = ₹20.75

iv. 6860 paise

6860 ÷ 100 = ₹68.60

v. 200 paise

200 ÷ 100 = ₹2

vii. 1000 paise
