a) 5m

1 m = 100cm

5m = 5 x 100 = 500cm

b) 7m

1 m = 100cm

7m = 7 x 100 = 700cm

c) 9m

1 m = 100cm

9m = 9x100

= 900cm

d) 16m

1 m = 100cm

16m = 16 x 100

= 1600cm

2. Convert into m

a) 6000cm

100cm = 1m

6000cm = 6000 ÷ 100

6000/100 = 60m

b) 4000cm

4000cm = 4000 ÷ 100

4000 / 10 = 40m

c) 13000cm

100cm = 1m

6000cm = 6000÷100

13000 / 100 = 130m

d) 17000cm

100cm = 1m

17000cm = 6000÷100

17000 / 100 =170m 4. Subtract 5. Raju used 13m 25cm ribbon for making his project. If he had bought 20m of ribbon, How much ribbon is left with him?
