Different organ systems are variously associated with cancer pain. Pancreatic cancer is the most common type of cancer associated with pain, with bone cancer being the sec-ond most common. Both cancers cause pain in over 80% of cases. Breast, lung, and colon cancers are associated with pain in greater than 70% of cases, and with lymphomas and leukemias, nearly 60% of patients experience pain.
