1. Continent: A large land mass கண்டம்

2. Strait: A narrow water channel which connect two large water bodies and separates two land masses. நீர்ச்சந்தி

3. Isthmus: A narrow strip of land that connects two large land masses and separate two water bodies. நிலச்சந்தி

4. Gulf: A deep inlet of the sea, surrounded by a narrow mouth. வளைகுடா

5. Rift Valley: A linear shaped low land between the mountains. பிளவு பள்ளத்தாக்கு

6. Reef: A thin layer of calcium carbonate பவளப்பாறை

7. Cataracts: A fast flowing water falls over a cliff சிறு அருவி

8. Pinnacles: Pointed limestone pillars found in Australian desert சுண்ணாம்புப் பாறை தூண்

9. Regs: These are plains of sand and gravel in the arid regions மணற்பாங்கான சமவெளி
