To observe transverse section (T.S) of Dicot Stem and Dicot Root from permanent slides.

Observation:

The given slide is identified as T.S of Dicot Stem

i.                     Vascular bundles are arranged in a ring.

ii.                     Conjoint, collateral, endarch and open vascular bundle.

iii.                     Ground tissued differentiated into cortex, endodermis, pericycle and pith.

iv.                     3 to 6 layer of collenchymas tissues present in hypodermis.

i.                     Radial vascular bundle.

ii.                     2 to 4 xylem present

iii.                     Cambium present

iv.                     Cortex is made up of parenchymatous cells
