DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WARP AND WEFT

Warp : Warp yarns are stronger
Weft : Weaker yarns can also be used

Warp : If twist is more then the length of yarns
per inch is also more
Weft : Twist and length of yarns per inch is less

Warp : Ply is preferred for warps
Weft : Singles can be used

Warp : Stretchability is low
Weft : Stretchability is high
