Single Yarn
Single yarns are directly twisted from fibres.
Ply Yarn
Two or more single yarns are twisted together.
This is also known as ply yarn.
Cord Yarn
Two or more ply yarns are twisted together to
form a cord yarn (Figure 4.2).
