1. Fill in the blanks:

2. Add the following:

5. Divide the following:

(i) 99 kg 990 g ÷ 3


99 kg 990 g ÷ 3 = 33 kg 330g

(ii) 147 g 630 mg ÷ 7


147 g 630 mg ÷ 7 = 21g 090mg

(iii) 550 kg 220 g ÷ 11


550 kg 220 g ÷ 11 = 50kg 020g

(iv) 484 g 384 mg ÷ 4


484 g 384 mg ÷ 4 = 121g 096 mg

 

6. What is the total weight of 7 kg 500g of cashew nut and 3 kg 350g of pista?

Weight of cashewnut = 7 kg 500 g +

Weight of Pista            = 3 kg 350 g

                                       10 kg 850 g

 

7. Vimal had a sack of cotton seeds weighing 50kg 350g. He used 7 kg 300g cotton seeds to feed his cow. How much cotton seed will be remaining after feeding his cow?

Weight of cotton seeds Vimal had = 50 kg 350 g

Weight of cotton seeds used            = 7 kg 300 g

Remaining cotton seeds                   = 43 kg 050 g

Remaining cotton seeds = 43 kg 050 g

 

8. A glass bottle can contain 25 g 125 mg of medicine, how much medicine can 7 such bottles contain?

One bottle contains medicine = 25g 125mg

7 bottles contain medicine =  

7 bottles contain medicine = 175 g 875mg

 

9. 75 kg 750 g of groundnut seed is filled in five bags, how much groundnut seed can a bag contain?

5 bags contain groundnut seeds = 75kg 750g

One bag contains groundnutseeds = 75kg 750g ÷ 5


One bag contains groundnut seeds = 15kg 150g
