Retractile testes

The cremasteric muscle is overactive and the testes retract into the groin. The scrotum is well developed and the parents may notice that the testes are in place when the child is in a warm bath. Examine in a warm environ-ment. The testes can be manipulated into the scrotum and will remain there until the cremasteric reflex is stimulated. Surgery is not necessary.
