Output Impedance of Emitter Follower
The output impedance of a circuit is the
impedance that the circuit offers to the load. When load is connected to the
circuit, the output impedance acts as the source impedance for the load.
Fig.1.15 shows the circuit of emitter follower. Here Rs is the output
resistance of amplifier voltage source. It can be proved that the output
impedance

In practical circuits, the value of RE is large enough to be
ignored. For this reason, the output impedance of emitter follower is
