Describe accelerography

A new method of monitoring neuromuscular response involves measuring acceleration.

Describe accelerography.

A new method of monitoring neuromuscular response involves measuring acceleration. A supramaximal stimulus is applied to the ulnar nerve while a transducer affixed to the thumb measures its acceleration. Good correlation exists between the accelerograph and other monitoring modalities. Like the MMG and EEG, accelerography is useful in the quantitative measurement of neuromuscular blockade.
